Experiences of these things and many others will fuel the opportunity to develop your photographic skills with Anthony Lynch as your tutor. Anthony will cover the topics; Portraits : (use of available light, communication with locals, composing the sitter, style ) Cityscapes ( long exposures, 'trick' photography, composition, light, pattern, texture) Landscapes ( light, composition, the use of rules of thirds, colour, shade , texture, black and white.) Reportage( story telling and all that involves) Still life.( depth of field, composition, available light and lighting rigs,) Night photography. ( long exposures, use of aperture/shutter speed control) Wildlife. (Long lenses, patience, anticipation of shots) Tours/classes generally evolve from this outline to suit the individual skill levels and interests of the group. Anthony says, “I like to have "crits" at the end of the day when work can be shown and discussed.” This allows the opportunity to learn as well as a chance for participants to pass on there own skills to others. There will also be the chance for one-on- one discussions with Ant about your work. All this with India forming a rich 'classroom' in which to work and experience. click for complete 2009 itinerary |
