Daydreaming
The start of the creative process is a directed daydream- letting thoughts of… what
if?...how about?...wouldn’t it be lovely?...percolate up through the subconscious into
the conscious mind.

Next one gets onto the practical parts of creation- what tools, what materials, what
exactly does one really want to achieve?
Throw in a bit of magic, serendipitous connections, chance, a gift from the Gods –
whatever you like to call it and voila! A master piece starts to emerge.

These are some of our current daydreams and the artists and teachers we are
working with to bring them to fruition.

More details to follow soon....

Nicola Hensel
a talented artist and wonderful teacher has always dreamed of Paris...
Drawing in Paris
we dream of  running in 2010 after she has spent time living and
working in a studio in Paris, join her to work on your skills and share some of her
favourite places to soak up the atmosphere, and coffee and food and draw!

Karl Larson and the Swedish Experience.
Karl Larsen inspired Nicola as a young artist and to this day she draws upon her
experience of this celebrated Swedish artist's legacy.
We plan to visit Sweden as the summer draws on when the forests are full of sweet
berries and flowers to re-create some of the peace and serenity, good feelings and
simple pleasures Lasen depicted in his work. We have the opportunity to visit his
family home ans studio near Stockhom, spend time in the countryside, sit in the
forest sketch and nibble berries and  then wander the docks of Gutenburg a
marvelous seaport.
